Rice
The Rice section issues licences for imports of Rice between the European Union (EU) and Non-EU countries.
RPA issue three main types of licence:
- Standard import licences which are required for all imports of Rice of more than 1000 Kg into the EU.
- Quota and Preferential import licences are issued for certain types of rice that are being imported with a reduced or zero import levy from specific countries that have quota agreements with the EU.
- Export licences which are required for all rice exports of more than 500 Kg from the EU to Non-EU countries.
