The RPA Energy Aid scheme closed in 2009 and, following the release of the UK held security in late 2011, all trader based activity has now been completed.
Interested parties may wish to contact Natural England to ascertain if there is any subsequent or further information on growing Energy Crops via: Natural England, PO Box 530, Worcester WR5 2WZ or Tel: 0300 060 1115
The Energy Aid Payments Scheme enabled aid to be claimed in respect of crops which are grown to be used for the production of energy (for heat, electricity or transport fuels) on land which has not been set-aside.
